When do classes start?
The school year is from September to June.
What is the schedule?
The morning-session is in Spanish: from 8:30 to 11:30
The afternoon session is in French from 1:00 to 4:00
What are the content areas of study?
Mathematics, language literacy in Spanish, literacy in French, social studies, foreign language and sports.
Where is the school located?
The new location is at Olas de oro Cabarete, in front of la Rosa supermarket.
What is the school’s teaching philosophy?
We use modern methodologies with a constructivist approach, awakening the interest and curiosity of children to develop their autonomy and critical thinking.
Who are the teachers?
All of our teachers are native speakers of the language of instruction. Highly qualified (Master level) and with international experience.
What if my child speaks neither French nor Spanish?
The fact that the classes allow 100% language immersion and that they are young children guarantees fast and natural learning. They can also count on the support and skills of our teachers to help them progress.
How many children are there for each class?
There is a maximum of 12 children per each class.
How long is the break?
20 minutes.
Are there extra-school activities?
We will visit local producers.
Museum visits.
Organization of artistic and recreational workshops at the school with the participation of experts.
Will there be lunch service available at noon?
Yes, the service will be available. 100$DR for child for day. It includes lunch and lunch time care by our school staff.
Could I enroll my child in only one session, morning or afternoon?
Yes.
What certifications do you offer?
We propose the option for families to register for French national distance education. This optional service costs 550 euros a year and provides them with a French state certificate endorsed by the French embassy in Santo Domingo, as if the children were in France. The other condition to obtain such a certificate is that the children attend our school or another local school in the morning.
If you study only in Spanish, can you also have the French state certification?
No, your child must be registered in the French section to get the French state certification.
Will they have foreign language and physical education classes?
Yes, two hours of foreign language and two hours of physical education per week.
How much does the registration cost?
We do not charge for registration.
How much does the monthly payment cost?
Part time: 225 $USD
Full time: 400 $USD
Are there special prices for enrolling siblings?
Monthly payments for siblings is as follow:
Two siblings enrolled in only one session would have a monthly payment of $425 instead of $450.
Two siblings enrolled in both sessions would have a monthly payment of $750 instead of $800.
If I pay all year, is there a special price?
Yes, they will have a 5% discount.
What are the vacation days?
We follow the Dominican school calendar regarding holidays. Children start the school year on September 7th and end it on June 30th. They will have one week of holidays at Easter and three weeks at Christmas (from December 19 to January 11).
Do I have to pay for the summer months?
No.
Do you offer summer camp?
It’s possible. We will start planning in early 2021.

What do you plan to do about the current pandemic?
We will follow the recommendations of the Dominican presidency and apply the necessary preventive measures for the safety of your children.
